Carbon Announces New Production Manager

On January 1, 2014, Kyle Gunderson was promoted to Carbon Production Manager.  He joined Pike Lumber Company in June, 2007 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point with a Forestry degree.

He worked for five years in Michigan buying timber.  In 2010, he went back to school at Western Michigan where he earned his MBA in 2012.  At this point, he knew he wanted a new direction in his life.  After talking with the upper management, Kyle began working in production under Chris Herrell.

Kyle’s duties include overseeing the planning and personnel for the Carbon sawmill, dry kilns, kiln-dried processing, shipping, and maintenance, and managing the Brouillette cabin.  He’s been involved more in maintenance projects as well.
